From today 18/01/2013, the ELGA (Hellenic Agricultural Insurance Organization) poses to public consultation the Declaration:
- Lease of one (1) Flight System for Hail Suppression and Procurement of Silver Iodide in packaging.
- Lease of one (1) Meteorological Radar System.
- Procurement of Radiosonde Materials.
The project of Hail Suppression Program is applied by ELGA to protect crops from hail, and the Open International Competition consists of the above three (3) parts.
Candidates may bid for one or more or all components of the project. The offer is mandatory for the entire quantity of each component.
The project duration is for hail suppression periods (from 10 April to 30 September) for the years from 2014 to 2018,
and the budget, including online booking and VAT 23% is as follows:

- Lease of one (1) Flight System for Hail Suppression: Ten million four hundred thousand Euros (10.400.000 €).
- Procurement of Silver Iodide in packaging: Two million seven hundred forty thousand Euros (2.740.000 €).
- Lease of one (1) Meteorological Radar System: Two million six hundred thousand Euros (2.600.000 €).
- Procurement of Radiosonde Materials: Two hundred and forty thousand Euros (240.000 €).
The public consultation will last for 30 days. The Declaration is available at the site of ELGA (http://www.elga.gr/) where there are instructions to participate in this open process.
